This month at Why I’m Building This, we’re featuring Abigail Dolan, founder of The Mill.
If you've ever tried planning a party, community gathering, pop-up market, workshop, or company event in Helena, you've probably run into the same challenge: finding a space that feels right without creating a ton of extra work.
Abigail saw that gap and decided to do something about it.
The Mill is a new mixed-use space in Helena designed to bring people together while supporting local entrepreneurs. The front of the space serves as a retail incubator, giving small businesses a place to test ideas and connect with customers. In the back, an intimate event venue creates room for celebrations, workshops, corporate gatherings, community events, and just about anything else people can dream up.
At its core, The Mill is about creating the kind of flexible, welcoming space Helena has been missing. A place where ideas can be tested, connections can be made, and people can gather without the usual hassle.
Why I’m Building This is a monthly gathering for founders, makers, and people in the middle of building something.
